Summary:
The City Secretary plays a critical administrative role in the operation of city government. Responsibilities include managing official city records, supporting City Council operations, coordinating municipal elections, and administering HR and employee benefits. This position also provides public communication support and oversight of the municipal court.
Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience in office admin, HR, or records management

Knowledge of Texas Open Meetings Act & Public Info Act

Strong computer and communication skills

Must be bondable and eligible to obtain Notary Public and Municipal Clerk certifications
