Notice of Opportunity for Employment

The City of Somerset is now accepting applications for the position of Full-time City Administrator. Minimum requirement: at least five years of experience in Executive Secretarial Work, preferably for a city or at least five years providing broad-based Governmental Administrative Services: City Secretary Certification, preferred; knowledge of applicable laws, ordinances, regulations, and resolutions related to official city business; knowledge of preparation of grant applications and grant writing; knowledge of laws and guidelines relating to municipalities; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Salary range $35,000.00 to $40,000.00 and based on experience.
